1. Uniform Image
Anyone who refurnishes their living room puts a lot of thought into it, but most people take a rather pragmatic approach when it comes to furnishing the bathroom. But it is precisely here that a good concept is needed. But how do you find it? It is best to be inspired by the style of your living rooms and continue the look in the bathroom – this will make the room look harmonious and the apartment spacious.

2. The Right Flooring
Do you not like the previous bathroom floor? You don’t have to furnish the bathroom with new ones immediately – just paste them over! Especially for this purpose, there are self-adhesive PVC tiles in various designs. Unlike simple adhesive foils, these can withstand heavy loads on the floor.
3. Attractive Look
Are you dreaming of an attractive tiled look but don’t want to completely refurnish your bathroom or carry out costly and time-consuming renovations? Then you can either hide the surfaces under adhesive tiles, paste over old tiles, or paint them uniformly with special varnish.
Important: Before application, the substrate must be meticulously cleaned – even the smallest dust particles would otherwise result in unsightly bumps on the tiles.

4. Reflection
Anyone who wants to redecorate or renovate their bathroom should remember that surfaces also impact the color effect: High gloss makes tones appear brighter, and matte surfaces look more saturated.
5. Private Gallery
Your bathroom doesn’t offer a view? Then distract from it with a large-format picture – it makes you forget the narrowness. Or you can choose a nature motif that suggests a view to the outside. The best choice for decorating the bathroom is a canvas print with a protective varnish.

6. Clear Edge
What immediately makes the entire bathroom interior, as well as the rest of the bathroom, look unattractive and unkempt are dark, dirty grout lines. When cleaning no longer helps, you can touch small blemishes with a special grout marker. The ink makes the joints look new; at the same time, it prevents mold formation.
7. Free Front
Ever thought of this? A chic way to protect yourself from unwanted glances is to furnish the bathroom with frosted glass panels or – as an inexpensive alternative – self-adhesive privacy film in frosted glass look: They are stuck directly onto the glass and can be removed without leaving any residue if necessary. Another advantage is that this solution takes up zero space in the room. With enough of it, you can achieve a great look with waterproof wooden blinds.

8. Best Lighting
Beautiful light makes not only us look good, but also the interior of the bathroom. At the sink it needs brightness from above, then the ideal complement is a soft lighting to the right and left of the mirror. Install light strips here behind a screen – so nothing dazzles, and nothing casts shadows.

9. Bathtub Delight
Chipped spots or an unsightly color are no reason to outfit the bathroom with a new bathtub immediately. Instead, paint the old one with a bathtub varnish. You can refresh acrylic, enamel, or ceramics quickly and easily with it. So that the result can be seen, clean the bathtub thoroughly before painting. By the way, you can easily save the shower and sink with the paint trick.

10. Small but Nice
When decorating bathrooms, the toilet seat is often disregarded. At the same time, sometimes it is necessary to pimp the bathroom using a new toilet seat. The distance between the mounting holes varies. So buy only a seat that will fit your toilet.
11. Wonderful White
A spacious bathroom? For most of us, that’s a dream. But there are tricks you can play: go for white consistently when decorating a small bathroom. If you always bathe the floors, walls, and sanitary objects in bright white, everything recedes visually, and the room appears larger. To prevent the bathroom from becoming a sterile wet room, use natural materials and towels in muted tones.

12. Light Shower
The rule that multiple light sources are more pleasant than one central ceiling light applies as much to decorating the bathroom as it does to any other room. Why not give your shower stall bright spotlights? On the other hand, soft light is perfect when bathing in the tub – here, you may create an atmosphere with beautiful lanterns.

13. Black Toilet
Dark colors in the bathroom are on the rise. Both black and completely black bathrooms are encountered in more modern homes – this looks extravagant and classy – but is also associated with more maintenance.
14. Unobtrusive But Spacious
Creams, brushes, shampoo, towels … all this has to be stored sensibly in the bathroom. At best, in a cabinet that is as simple as it is elegant. The classic, of course, is a mirror cabinet that you mount on the wall.
